Surprise
Lethe was sleeping. As a cat, she loved to sleep but she's not as lazy as she looks. She was sleeping in a hammock out side of her tent. It was truly a beautiful day.
Lethe's ear twitched as she heard someone coming. She woke up with a yawn and jumped out of the hammock. She the sniffed the air to see, or rather, smell who's coming and sure enough, it was Soren.
"There you are." said Soren "The commander is looking for you."
"What for?" Lethe hissed. She was quite agitated because she was training a lot lately and never really got the chance to sleep.
"Well, apparently, Ike found a Bandit camp site. Ike will inform you about it when you get to him." said the mage
So Lethe stretched and headed towards the main tent, where Ike was. "So commander what do you need me for?" asked the laguz.
"We need you to the bandit camp site near hear." Ike started. "You will team up with someone because the may be a threat and could ambush us at any time. They sent one of there units to burn us down, so you and Jill will go and check it out
Just then Jill came in the Tent. "Are you ready Lethe?" Jill was already informed about the plan.
"Fine, let's just go!" hissed Lethe.
Lethe and Ill got on to Jill's wyvern. Lethe looked back as Ike said "be careful!" Lethe then turned her head back blushing slightly. Jill noticed this as they started flying
"So Lethe, what's with you and Ike" Questioned Jill smiling
Lethe's ears twitched as her tail swished back and forth in anger blushing a little bit more now. "He is only my commander! Besides it's none of your concern beorc. After this, Lethe tried to calm down
"Hey Lethe, don't get so defensive were friends so you can tell me anything." Jill said with a smile "I know you have a crush on the commander but, your secret's safe with me.
Lethe was blushing even more now as her ears flattened in embarrassment "Fine! I-it's true! But if you tell any one, I'll smack you so hard you won't be able to recover for a year even if you use healing beorc magic!" snarled Lethe.
"Don't worry. Hey I think I see the bandit camp site" said the red-haired girl.
"Your write Jill" said the cat "Let's descend.
"Right" Jill's wyvern lowered close enough to the ground so Lethe could jump off.
The cat Landed in front of a myrmidon "SUB-HUMANS ARE ATTACKING!!!" said the myrmidon. Lethe shifted in to her cat form and clawed his face before he could unsheathe his sword. Jill came in on he wyvern and started throwing her hand axe. Things were going well for Lethe and Jill but just then, a fire mage came out "nurb htiw erif" shouted the mage. Then fire surrounded Lethe and everyone knows all beasts hate fire. Then the fire enclosed on Lethe who then fainted.
"LEEEETHE" shouted Jill as she, on her wyvern, raced toward Lethe. But what the red-eyed wyvern rider didn't expect is a thunder mage behind her.
"teg kcurts nwod yb rednuht" yelled the second mage. Jill was then hit by lighting. She and her wyvern crashed into the ground. She was knocked out cold.

Ike was eating when a random glass fell on the ground and broke. "A bad omen" said Ike to himself.
