A/N: well guys, here is another story...so far I've only come up with the beginning, but if you like it I'll write more. This is really different from my other stories, cuz, if I continue, I'm going to write in, like, little blurbs of important events, instead of a continuous story...anyways, here goes.
Part 1-
If a stranger drove into Orange County, they would see a beautiful beach, big houses, and gorgeous girls. Basically, a millionaire's playground.
If they looked at Seth Cohen, they would see a tall, gawky, curly-haired misfit who stands out in this high society because he's a "real" person. He is the anti-Newbie, an emo-geek and comic book buff, whose quirky nature somewhat hinders him socially. And to not have social skills in Newport Beach, well, you don't have a meaningful life.
Then there is Summer Roberts. The stereo-typical O.C. resident. All about looks and clothes, her only concern, it seems, is who the new boy on the water polo team is. Summer's life revolves around what's "in" and what's "eww". To everyone around her, she is just another shallow teen, whose future holds the promise of a place in Newport society and the label, "trophy wife".
No stranger would put these two together, everyone can see they are too opposite, too focused on different things to find common ground. Everyone but Seth and Summer. These two people, different in every way possible, compliment each other in a way few can. As they say, Seth's "the brains", and Summer's "the boobs". And although, if a stranger saw these people as two separate beings, they would never be matched together, as a couple, they work.
If a person saw them walking down the street, hand-in hand, (which is common these days), they would not see the turmoil of their past, nor the uncertainty of their future. They wouldn't know that it all started with a 3rd graders "I want to be a Mermaid" poem, or that it almost ended with a 3 month boat trip. All they would see is a happy couple, completely content and in love, whose only worry is where to eat lunch. They wouldn't see how deep their love is, how long-lasting. But that's because a stranger hasn't been there for all the heartbreak, the deception, the happiness, the sadness, and the love that was part of the journey Seth and Summer set off on 2 years before. In fact, very few people have been privy to this miraculous journey that two completely opposite people took in order to become the love of each other's lives.
But this is your lucky day. You are being given the chance to watch, in a series of important events, the romance of Seth and Summer that eventually led to a contentment only found by those truly in love. This is their story...
I know this is really really short...I think it's the shortest piece I've ever written...it's just like...a preview of things to come...if I get some reviews, I'll keep writing.
