Aslan's Country

The sun was shinning and the air was terrific. Narnia has ended only a short moment ago. There was Polly, Diggory, Peter, Edmund, Lucy, Eustace and Jill.

While everyone else ran ahead, Jill and Eustace walked alone.

"It really is lovely, isn't it Eustace?" Jill said looking up at her friend, holding onto his arm.

His hair was clean and fresh, his face full of color and delight, his clothes soft and warm. "Yes, Jill. It really is."

Jill was in a light pastel dress, her hair was long and wavy, her eyes were sparkling.

There was just something in the air that just made her want to dance. And she did. Eustace watched as his friend twirled around in the grass.

He admired her.

She was so graceful, at almost everything she did. Of course she wasn't always like that, escpecially not in England.

In England, he and Jill were children. They fought, made sarcastic remarks, lied, snapped, teased...

But now things were changing. And Eustace knew it was for the better. Eustace knew that there was a reason why Alsan allowed them to go to Narnia. It wasn't just for fun and games.

Eustasce also knew that he should be very greatful that he and Jill even made it to Aslan's Country.

The wind was blowing in Jill's hair now, a nice gentle breeze. She looked over to him and smiled. He couldn't help but to smile back.

There was something about Aslan's Country that just made you brave enough to try almost anything.

Almost anything.

Eustace wanted nothing more but to join in with her, wanted to take her by the hands, twirl her around, to hold her.

To kiss her.

But he couldn't. Why should he? It wasn't right.

Was it?

Eustace grew suddenly curious. What would it be like to kiss her? Her lips were so peachy, so smooth looking. Should he let curiosity get the better of him? Curiosity did kill the cat.

But then again, he was already dead.

"Jill?" He finally found his voice.

She stopped twirling and looked over to him, a smile plastered on her face.

He walked over to her, and took hold of both her hands. He then leaned forward slowely and kissed her, ever so lightly. But then he pulled away.

If he had done this in England, his face would have been a bright red, he would have been stuttering. But here he was perfectly calm.

And so was Jill.

She tilted her head a little. "What was that for, Eustace?"

He shrugged. "I just wanted to see how it would feel like if I kissed you."

"How did it feel?"

"It felt nice," He said truthfully. "How did it feel for you?"

Jill smiled. "It felt nice."

"Should we do it again?" Eustace asked. Jill smiled once again. "I think we should."

And they did.

End

So...umm...I hadn't planned on this one actually...it was just something short that formed into my head and I needed to get it down. Thought I'd post it.
