A/N: Hey people, this is my first story, so any comments will be greatly appriciated. I'm not sure of the exact date of Dumbledore's death, so it's like a month before the end of term :) so yeah. Read and enjoy.

"Severus...Please..." he pleaded.

Snape raised his wand and pointed it directly at Dumbledore.

"Avada Kedavra!"

A jet of green light shot from the end of Snape's wand and hit Dumbledore squarely in the chest.

In the gryffindor common room, Harry Potter awoke with a start. The night of Dumbledore's death had replayed in his mind constantly as if it happened yesterday. But in fact, it was a month ago. Harry wiped his tear stained cheeks and put on his glasses. He walked out of his dormitory an the portrait of the fat lady swung open as Harry pushed it away.

Harry found himself in the astronomy tower again. The darkness crept in and made the room somewhat saddening. After all this was the place where Dumbledore was killed by that traitor. The darkness calmed harry in a way he couldn't describe. He put his hand in one of the pockets in his cloak feeling for one particular item and pulled it out. Between his finger and his thumb, the blade glinted when it hit the light of the full moon. Harry pressed the blade to his deeply scarred wrist and pierced his skin, for blood to trickle down his wrist and splash into puddles on the stone floor.

The shadows in the room moved, Harry looked up from his arm, but saw nothing, he must have been imagining it. He looked back down at his wrist and cut it once more. It was his fault Dumbledore had died, and he deserved what pain he got. Harry's eyes burnt from the tears he refused to shed. His eyes were blurred but he looked up to see a silhouette of some one. Harry wiped his tears on his sleeve and raised his head.

"I'm not going to hurt you, Harry." said Draco Malfoy.

Harry looked at him in surprise, why would Malfoy be kind to him? Harry rose to his feet and rushed off, but it was to late. Draco's hand had grasped Harry's wrist and forced him to a halt. Harry turned to him and apologized.

"Draco, I'm sorr-" he whispered.

Word weren't needed, Draco's eyes told Harry everything he wanted to know. The moon shined on them, they could both see each others pain etched upon their face. A tear rolled down Harry's cheek, Draco softly wiped it away.

Draco's hands fell into Harry's, they stood there holding hands for what seemed like years to them.

"Harry, I really am sorry, for everything I've done. And Harry I love you." Draco whispered, so faintly, he almost couldn't be heard.

"I love you too Draco, i have for some time now, and I've never had the courage to say something."

They walked to the balcony of the astronomy tower, looking at the moon, the pair were mesmerized by it. Harry's green eyes met Draco's stone gray ones momentarily. They leaned closer and closer together their lips met as the sun rose above the trees of the Forbidden Forrest.

"Harry, we can do this together."
