Ode to Lily
I courted my fair lady from afar,
Emerald eyes and ruby hair so lovely,
She had me hooked just like a golden star,
Miss Lily Evans, spare a thought for me,
My life re-started with a simple wave,
Your smile made me melt and float away,
And then we joined the ranks of all the brave,
From train to table, all I said was hey
In fifth year I saw you a different way,
I asked you out a million times I'm sure,
Yet every time you turned me cold away,
I felt my heart drop straight down to the floor,
But I stood strong; I know you'll come around,
My lily, dearest, let love live unbound,
Just a little experiment, i love poetry, and Harry Potter, so i thought hey! why not combine tthe two?, and thus, the ode to Lily was born (Da-da-daaaaa!)
