"EY!" Frank jumped in his bed so much that he almost fell out of it. He had fallen asleep before James' scream had woken him up. He took a look at his watch, 00:24. He hadn't been sleeping for more than thirty minutes. He had exams in herbology tomorrow, and he really wanted to success this time. Last time he had been sick, and couldn't concentrate on his exam. Therefore Dumbledore let him try with it once more, and he was truly grateful for it. Frank felt his blood boiling, and therefore he took one of his pillows, his blanket and got out of his bed, walked past the Marauders, continued down to the common room and straight to the fireplace.

"Oh, hello Frank" said a female voice that made him jump, again.

"Merlin" he muttered quietly turning around quickly. "Oh, hi Alice" he said seeing whom it was sitting in the sofa.

"Trouble with sleeping, you too?" she asked gesture to the blanket and pillow he had in his hands. He look at her, she too had her blanket wrapped around her and her head leaning against a pillow that look just like his own.

"No, the Marauders are screaming and talking and just making noises. I had fallen asleep but then James' screamed and I woke up. I just get so mad at them, I have already told them to shut up multiply times and what do they do? Nothing! It's a wonder Peter is sleeping. I believe he has some sleep potion 'cause he can sleep through all damn noises his friends make! And I have herbology exam in the morning and I just have to sleep to make them and I can't sleep up there and…" Frank rambled, sitting down with a frustrated noise beside Alice in the sofa. He wrapped his blanket around him and puffed his pillow before leaning his head against it just like Alice had done.

"I'm sorry" he said quietly after a minute's silent. "Didn't mean to get angry at you for it, I just, I don't know." He could swear that he was red in all his face. He liked Alice so much, and then he has to ruin it with getting mad at her for something that she can't help.

"It's okay Frank" she said, putting her hand on his shoulder. "I understand you; I've been in the same situation as you before. Though, not tonight." She smiled slightly at him, with sad brown eyes.
"Oh, Alice, what's happened?" he asked her worried, he saw in her eyes that everything wasn't truly as it should.
"Eh, I got an owl this evening. The death eaters have murdered my parents" she said quietly with tears now streaming down from her eyes. She turned her face away from him, trying to hide her tears. He shifted awkwardly in the sofa before moving closer to her and putting an arm around her.

"I'm so sorry Alice, I can't believe what suffer you must have right now. Oh, dear!" he said with a low voice, his thumb stroking her arm. She turned, putting her face into his chest crying more freely now. "Alice…" he murmured again, hugging her tightly. He pushes his lips onto her hair, trying to comfort her. After a while her sobs are more still and more silent. He continues to stroke her arm with his thumb, until he realizes that she has fallen asleep. He tries to crawl out from her arms, putting her gently down on the sofa and throws her blanket over her. He kisses her forehead, before turning his back to her and tries to fit in the armchair behind the sofa. Taking his blanket with him, making his body curl and he fall asleep, with Alice's tears on his shoulder.
