Random story idea... Revolves around Gustavo's daughter and her developing relationship with Kendall (romantic), James, Logan, and Carlos (friends). Her whole story will be told in detail soon on in the story. I hope you all like it! I worked on the descriptive parts for quite a while to get them to be just right. I spent at least 5 minutes decided how to describe Kendall's eye color. There are so many shades of green! Haha. Well I hope it was time well spent.
I was quietly working on my Advanced US History homework in a corner of the recording/sound check room when a group of boys rushed into the room. My dad glanced up from the laptop he was on, his eyes scrunching up in anger.
"Sorry we're late, Gustavo. The traffic was horrible today," one of them apologized, slightly wincing back in fear. He had mildly shaggy, dirty blonde hair that just barely covered his mossy green eys. His well-toned arms and torso were clothed in a blue and gray flannel button-up over a gray t-shirt, finished off with dark was jeans and black Converse. I also noticed that he was on the taller side of the group, second only to the muscular, hazel eyed guy.
"Whatever. Just be here on time from now on, understood?" my dad said through clenched teeth, turning away from them to say something to his assistant, Kelly. I saw them all take a collective sigh, taking a moment to glance around. It took them a moment to realize that I was there and when they did, I recieved a wide range of curious stares. I gave them a little wave before returning back to my homework, my cheeks heating up a little at their gaping.
"Who's that?" I heard one of them ask.
"That... Is my daughter Jenna. Ignore her and let's get to work," I heard my dad reply, clearly annoyed by their attention diversion. They all mumbled unintelligeable things as they filed into the sound booth, taking their places behind the microphones. I couldn't help but glance up at random moments during their recordings, repeatedly catching the gaze of the blonde haired boy with green eyes. I bit my lip, smiling lightly, and going back to my work.
I had to use the bathroom about an hour later, having just finished all of my make up work so I let myself out of the recording room and headed down the hall. As I emerged from the girl's restroom, the cute boy from earlier was just passing by. I was guessing that I startled him because he jumped in shock and spun around, his gorgeous green eyes widening is surprise.
"Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you," I said shyly, glancing down to avoid his eyes.
"It's okay. You're Jenna, right?" I nodded, shaking his hand which he had extended for me. "Cool. I didn't know Gustavo had a daughter. I'm Kendall."
"Nice to meet you, Kendall. And yes, I'm the result of a passionate, youth-driven fling back in the 90's," I told him, smiling innocently.
"Wow, I guess the 90's were a pretty crazy time."
