"We're going to Gallifrey" said Clara smirking, "the long way round!"

She pulled the lever to her left, moving them forwards in time by a few hundred years.

"So where do you want to go?" Clara asked

"I don't know, I thought you were supposed to be the expert" Lady Me said as she lounged on the sofa on the side of the consol.

"What about the blue moons of Rior? Covered blue sapphires, and …"

"Been there" Lady Me interrupted in a bored tone, leafing through the TARDIS control manual.

"Ok, what about Therka? One of the most advanced technological planets in the Universe. The Doctor took me there once, but we arrived five centuries before their technological revolution. We never did go back there." Clara explained thoughtfully, swallowing down the lump that she felt in her throat at the mention of her beloved friend.

"It's not that impressive really. It was one of the first planets I went to after I left Earth, they managed to help me solve my memory problem. "Lady Me said, unaware of her companions pain as she looked up from her reading "Well, partially, at least."

Clara waited Lady Me to continue, but she simply went back to reading the TARDIS control manual. Although Mayor Me had given some hints as to how much she remembered of her past, the Doctor had never actually explained it to her. Clara shrugged, hopefully Lady Me, or Ashieldr (as Clara still thought of her) would open up to her in the future; it's not like they were short of time.

"Fine, I give up! I'll just put the controls on random, hopefully we'll turn up somewhere at least partially interesting." Clara grinned as she set the controls to random. The pair had to cling to the console (or seat) as they were suddenly being tossed around the control room.

"You forgot to put the bloody stabilisers on!" yelled Lady Me.

Clara quickly hit the blue buttons on the console, returning the TARDIS to its previous tranquillity. An alien gong resonating around the room made the girls aware that they had landed. They shared a grin before rushing to the doors. Pushing open the silver doors onto their new life travelling the stars (and planets, and galaxies…).
