Forbidden Love
There was something about his eyes
That intrigued her from the start.
And there was something about her face
That stirred something it his heart.
They would never admit it.
They didn't even realize
The connection between them
When they met each other's eyes.
It was a strange feeling indeed
To have towards an enemy.
These feelings of affection
Were chained, never to be let free.
She knew she should've hated him
For all the things he'd done.
But she could tell that he'd been hurt
And that was something she just couldn't shun.
He knew he shouldn't feel these things
About someone he'd set himself against.
But when he'd seen those cerulean eyes…
Well, he'd been hooked ever since.
It was a tantalizing, though forbidden, love.
Soon enough, they just couldn't resist.
Their chained emotions were set free
And poured into their very first kiss…
