Eh, well I wanted to write a small Fairy Tail one-shot because I love and miss this show. Q~Q

I have no idea why I wrote this story actually, I just wanted to write about lil' Natsu.

"Igneel?"

Rain was pouring, covering any trace or sign that could lead me to finding my father. My dad is a dragon, and dragons don't just vanish from the world. I searched around the place where he had once lived. The cave walls of which he used to lie so firmly upon, were now rusted and decaying. I refused to cry, after all, it was an impossibility that he could be gone. Right? I began to doubt myself.

I went to the study table, where he taught me basic Japanese, looking for a sign or anything that could help me find him. But, no traces were left. Not there, not anywhere. It was like his existence had... disappeared. Igneel was gone.

I became frantic and pulled things out of place in a blind rage, I ran outside, bare-footed feeling the cold mud squish between my toes. "Igneel!" I roared, falling to my knees. The mud dirtying my legs, but at this moment I had no concern for hygiene, nor becoming sick from the rain.

Tears fell out my eyes at a rate of which I was unable to control.

I fell into the mud and huddled up, I kept crying and crying, glad that nobody could see me at my worst. But the sorrow soon faded, and turned to anger. I let out a strong breath of fire, so hot that the rain that fell onto it, had no effect and turned to steam. I vented my rage. Never before had my flames been this strong. Thunder sounded, followed by a bolt of lighting, so I went inside the cave to be safe from harm.

My body calmed down, and although I was sad, I felt at ease. I sat on the small bed of which Igneel had got for me. Looking around his cave I saw something. It was a small piece of paper. I slowly walked up to in, bending down to examine the writing. I had only just been taught Katakana, but I was able to read the note, or more specifically the flyer. Igneel had left this here for me. I knew straight away after reading it, where I had to go. That place, was Fairy Tail.
