A little thing I wrote in English today, because the last two episode were amazingly slashy and inspiring.

A Monster and A Man

Things had changed so much, Peter couldn't help but think to himself as Sylar backed him into a wall. Things had changed and he wasn't really sure what to think of it.

Rough hands grasped his arms, holding him against the wall, unable to move. Peter rested his arms against Sylar's chest as their lips met, violently at first.

Peter's hands trail their way up, finding themselves around Sylar's neck, pulling him closer.

Sylar – no, Gabriel loosened his grip on Peter's arms, then slid his hands down, resting briefly around his waist, before moving back up, under his shirt.

Peter gasped slightly as cool hands met his sensitive skin. Smooth hands…

Peter couldn't help but contemplate his hands. So smooth. Far too smooth for the hands of a psychopathic serial killer. Far too smooth for the hands of his brother's murderer.

Peter pushed him away as he remembered that his was Sylar, the man who'd killed Nathan, the man who'd killed his brother. His beloved brother.

Sylar stood before him only a few inches away, staring intently at him, waiting for the fallout that was no doubt about to occur.

Peter stares at the ground and runs a shaky hand through his hair as he let out a jagged breath. Why was he doing this? What made him think that was okay? This was his brother's killer for god's sake.

He looked up into Sylar's eyes and sees a hurricane of emotions running through them. So many emotions swirling about so fast that Peter only catches one, the one that repeats over and over.

Fear.

In that instant, he remembers why he's doing this, why this is okay.

He takes a step forward, closing the gap between them once more.

Sylar and Gabriel were two different people. Sylar may have been a monster and a killer and a sociopath, but Gabriel wasn't. Gabriel was a sweet man who was just beginning to learn to control the monster within.

Gabriel wasn't the man who killed Peter's brother.

He was the man Peter loved.

I'm quite fond of reviews :)
