Zick sat beside Elena on the couch.
"Hi Zick." Elena greeted
"Hi Elena." Zick replied
Zick felt disconcerted because of what he was feeling inside
'How should I say it to her, its killing me inside! If I told her I loved her she might get angry at me and it might break our friendship, what should I do?!' Zick thought, his hands were trembling and he was paler than ever.
Elena got a little worried.
"Z-Zick, are you ok?" asked Elena
"Y-Y-Yeah I'm f-f-fine." he said as his temperature was rising
"Zick, I cant figure out if you're ok but your hands are trembling and your temperature's high."
"It's just.. a mood swing."
"No it isn't… Zick is anything wrong? Is something bothering you?"
"No n-nothings bothering me."
"Please Zick I know something's wrong please tell me?"
"Fine…….its just that I cant find a way how to say …"
"How to say?"
"How to say…………"
"How to say what?!"
"How to say I…….. I…"
"You what?"
"I……..love you."
That struck Elena for a moment and kept her silent…..but started talking again
"Zick…… I…I.."
"You don't have to say anything…you can tell me you don't like me back its fine with me…"
"No that's not…. ….I love you too Zick."
"What?"
"I love you too."
"Really?"
"Yeah, really…. and this is just our little secret right?"
"Yeah ….it is."
Elena leaned towards Zick and kissed him.
Zick leaned in and kissed back.
