Jet's story
Jet couldn't breathe. After that blasted rock hit him, his internal organs slowly stopped working. He knew he would die, but somehow, he still managed to smile at Katara and say he will be fine.
Katara. His Katara.
After she left, he started to breathe hard. And harder. And harder still, until he could barely breathe at all. Smellerbee kept talking to him, but she knew he was dying. At least, he was dying, until she came.
Smellerbee saw her first. She quickly took out her knife. "Who are you? And what are you doing here?" Smellerbee asked. The girl paused for a moment, and tilted her head. Smellerbee noticed that she was wearing Water tribe clothing. The girl began walking forward in the cavern, moving as if she was underwater. Smellerbee looked back at Jet. It seemed he was barely breathing.
"I'm here to heal your friend." said the girl. She knelt by Jet and took out a jug of water. "My name is Lei Zhou by the way. I was visiting a friend of mine, the King of the Earth Kingdom." she said as she began to heal Jet.
"That still doesn't explain why you are here though." said Smellerbee, who knelt by Jet's side, still wary of Lei Zhou.
"I was on my way back to the Northern Water Tribe when I fell through a crack, a few minutes ago in fact. While I was exploring, I found this cave and saw what happened." said Lei Zhou. "I was afraid for a little while, so that's why I didn't come out when the other people were here."
Smellerbee was still suspicious, and a bit jealous, of Lei Zhou. She had whiter then snow hair, blue eyes that seemed to absorb everything, and she was nice as well. Not to mention a bit pretty.
"Here we go, he should be awake in a few minutes. What are your names by the way?" said Lei Zhou.
"I'm Smellerbee, and the guy you just healed is Jet."
"Well, Smellerbee, you might want to help me get Jet above ground."
"What's going on? Did I miss something?"
Smellerbee looked down and saw that Jet was awake. "Jet! You're all right!" Smellerbee said as she gave him a quick hug. "This girl, by the name of Lei Zhou, helped you. She healed you using her Water Bending skills."
"That, and the fact that I used some special water from a sacred pool." said Lei Zhou.
Jet looked at her, and was stunned. Somehow, he thought he seen her from somewhere before, he just can't remember where.
"Come on then, we need to get you above ground so you can get some fresh air." said Lei Zhou. She gripped him around the waist and helped him up but didn't see the faint blush Jet had on his face.
"I'm fine. Really. I can stand up on my own." said Jet. He took three steps forward and promptly fell flat on his face.
"Like I said, let Smellerbee and I help you up to the surface. Your legs will be fine after a few days. Guess I got to stick around to make sure you don't get hurt again." said Lei Zhou.
Somehow, those few days without walking seemed to be more perfect then it normally would.
