Spider and Butterfly
Riku was very lonely this morning. He wanted to spend time with someone, but Kai didn't have time, as he was off doing "important stuff", and he was sure that meant getting into a fight of some sort. Riku was too nice to try to bother Saya or Hagi, feeling sure that they had too much on their minds already. So he took a walk by himself to kill time, anything to fill the emptiness of doing nothing.
A sigh passed the boy's lips as he continued down the path he was walking. Not long afterwards did he find himself face to face with a very familiar, bright-eyed, dark haired woman.
"Diva?" he asked timidly. He had been introduced to her already by Kai and Saya when she'd come by to "check on her sweet, darling sister". The encounter had ended with Diva swooping down in a flash of moving silky hair and silky dress layers to throw her arms around Riku's shoulders and pushing her soft lips against his, exclaiming that he was the "most handsome little cutie" she'd ever lain eyes on.
Riku blushed crimson at the memory and Diva giggled loudly." If it isn't my dear, sweet, handsome young prince!" Then she flounced over to him and leaned over to whisper in his ear:
"If you'd like another kiss Riku, it's alright to ask. I don't bite…..much."
"U-uhm, n-nice to see you again too Diva." Riku squeaked.
"So why is such a nice boy walking all by himself today? Was there really no one wasn't too busy to spend time with you?"
Riku nodded, trying and failing to keep the sadness he felt out of the gesture.
"I'm used to it though. My brother is always off and around, and I don't want to bother anyone."
The pair paused to sit on a bench that happened to be nearby.
Diva draped an arm lazily around Riku's shoulders as he continued talking.
"Really, I don't think they need to be concerned. To tell the truth, I'm sure they haven't noticed I've left. So it's no problem being by myself a lot." But it does get lonely, he added in his head.
Diva squeezed him a little closer, and brought her other hand up so the fingers stroked teasingly under his chin and tilted his face toward hers.
"It should be a crime, leaving a cutie like you alone so much. You poor thing."
And seized by passion, she drew him closer and stroked his hair comfortingly.
The motion relaxed Riku considerably. It felt….nice. The warmth of Diva's embrace in a cold morning. The deft fingers running through his silky brown hair. Diva brought her nose to his hair and deeply inhaled his scent.
"Mmmm….Riku…" Diva moaned into his ear. Sharp, but pleasant tingles coursed through the young boy's body.
"Y-Yes?" Riku asked, not sure how to respond to all this affection.
"If someone smells good, does that mean they'll taste good too."
"Well….not always."
"So should I taste anyway, just to be sure?"
"I…..guess?"
"Then I'll take you home, and we'll break the rules and have dessert early!"
Riku did not pick up on exactly what she was implying, but he'd find out soon enough.
