Jack's POV-
I could feel it, the emotions coming back. It's been four years since I've seen her. Sam. As long as I kept thinking of her, it came back. A memory came back, that woman that I met at the bar years back, sam it was her me and her spent that night to together in each others arms. It doesn't matter now the SGC is public and has been for four years. Today is the reunion or anniversary how ever you look at it, but still my point is this causes me to see her again, it not like I have to….it's that I NEED to. I need to see that she is happy and settled even if it's not with me. I pull into the SGC parking lot. I park my truck and get out. I walk in the SGC elevator. I take out the invitation and re-read on where I'm supposed to go for the party, meet in the gateroom. I exit the elevator, and make my way to the SGC gateroom door, I slide my card through and walk in. The Stargate remained where they left it, people talking pictures. I walk in further and someone very happy looking stands right in front of me.
"Spacemonkey!" I exclaim. "Hey Jack, how ya been?" Daniel asks me sort of annoyed that I still use nickname. "Ah, Can't complain. You?" I ask him, he just smiled and said. "I'll be right back." Daniel dashed away for a moment then returned with brown haired, brown eyed, sort doctor. "Jack this is my wife." Daniel said. "Janet, holy crap!" I exclaim, that's all I could say. "It's a long story jack, Oma said that I could do more here, so, she sent me back with all my memory, and let's just say she sent me to Daniel's house. So we started dating and then just two months ago he asked me to spend the rest of my life with him and just last night I figured out I'm two weeks pregnant." Janet said and at that moment Daniel's grin got wider. "You didn't tell me that last bit Janet." Daniel said, and Janet gave her best 'I was going to tell you tonight' smile.
I just stood there with utter shock written all over my expression. "Excuse me jack I think me and the Mrs. need to talk." Daniel kindly said before him and Janet went over by the table with the food on it. I look to the Stargate once more. Teal'c can't attend this happy get to together. I was upset when I heard this but, he was needed on Dekara. So he had an excuse. I scanned the room in search of Carter. I couldn't find her, 'must not be here yet.' I think to myself. Just then the doors opened to reveal a girl in her teens I'd say fourteen come in, then I saw Carter. My heart jumped up to my throat. I had to talk to her NOW!
"Hey Carter!" I say as calmly as possible. "Jack, hi I've been dieing to talk to you." She says to me. Did she just say she wanted to talk to me? "Really?" I ask in disbelief. "Yes, really, It took me a long time to work up the courage to tell you this." The next thing I know she's in my arms crying. "I promised myself I wouldn't cry but it looks like that didn't really matter." Sam said looking into my eyes. "What did you want to tell me?" I ask her. "Jack remember the night we spent together so many years back, well jack I got pregnant and since a didn't have you number, I couldn't tell you. Jack I want you to meet your daughter, Danielle come here!" Sam called and that same Fourteen year old girl walked over and held her hand out. "Hi, I'm danielle and I'm guessing she told you I'm your daughter."
