When the guild hall's front doors crashed open no one bothered to look up, in seeing the doors' abuse was a common occurrence during the day.
Laxus sat on the far end of the bar, completely unaware of his wife marching straight toward him. That is until she heard her attack, barely dodging it before the lightning bolt split his chair in two.
"Cana-" He went to round on the woman he called wife but he shivered at the expression on her face: pure, murderous intent.
The card mage summoned another attack and Laxus ran like hell for cover.
"What the hell, Cana?" He growled and ducked again.
Cana lunged for her husband. "You simple minded, arrogant, bastard!"
He blinked before dodging another attack. "Why are you trying to kill me I haven't done anything yet?"

When Kira popped out of his hiding spot behind the bar Mira and Makarov looked at the boy.
Makarov looked at his great-grandson. "Do you know what's going on?"
Kira nodded then ducked behind the bar just as his mother punched his father. "She did her own reading."
"And?" Mira wondered and handed the young lightning mage a milkshake.
"Something was positive and something lasting 36 hours long." Kira replied before sipping the chocolate swirl milkshake.
Mira gapped and then looked at the card mage wrestling her husband to the floor and pinning him to the ground. "Poor Cana…Laxus will be lucky if she ever lets him touch her again."
Evergreen giggled, "Girl, he'll be lucky if she allows him to be in one piece at the end of the year."
Makarov shook his head with a sigh before going over to his grandson's aid; having the feeling the lightning mage would be spending his nights at the guild hall for many months.
