One Shot of Reyna and Leo

I'm a goner was the first thing that came to mind when I stepped off the boat and onto the grass of the Roman camp. Why you may ask? In front of me was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen in my life. Heck, Aphrodite ain't got NOTHIN' on her.

I laugh at the thought of Aphrodite's face crinkling up in distaste as I say that this girl with dark brown hair is more beautiful than her.

Now how am I going to find out her name? I think to myself.

I could do an Elvis impersonation... I quickly erase that idea out of my head. This chick seemed to be above everyone else with the amount of pride she took in each step and someone you didn't want to mess with. It also seemed that people respected her around camp by the way they parted like the red sea when she walked past them.

When she finally reached our boat, Jason,Annabeth,and Piper bowed to her. I just stood there and smirked.

"You dare not bow down to the praetor?" she said her nose wholes flaring.

I held out my hand for her to shake.

"Leo Valdez. And you are?" Her face went from angered, to surprised, to confused, to slightly amused all in a matter of seconds.

"Praetor Reyna; Daughter of Bellona." she stated with pride. I tried to hold in my laughter but couldn't help it when I let a couple chuckles slip out.

"Whats so funny?" she said clearly angered again.

"Is that like the goddess of Baloney?" I started cracking up even more when her face started steaming red.

"NO! It is the goddess of war for your information!" she said almost screaming.

I was on the ground cracking up now.

"Her sacred animal is baloney though?" she shook her head and gave a small smile.

" Your not so bad, Valdez."

Guess who was in my dreams last night? If you guessed anyone beside Reyna, you are wrong! Cause she was one in my dreams! I have known her for less than a day and already have strong feelings for her! How sad is that?

So today, I'm just gonna get up the courage to ask her on a date. Each step I take closer towards her I feel more excited and uncertain.

C'mon Leo! Just put on your big girl panties and do it! I thought to myself.

Finally when I walked up to her, I did it.

"Go out with me. One date. One night. If you don't like me, I'll never talk to you again," I say all in one breath; all of a sudden.

She looks confused at first then smirks.

"I don't think that is gonna work Leo," she said as disappointment (and rejection) washed over me. Then she walked over and whispered in my ear.

"I don't think it's gonna work Leo because I'm gonna want a second date with you as well." I smile as she walks away from me into a building.

Score 1 for Leo! …...Then I realize something..

"Wait,Reyna! Was that a yes or a no?" she smirked at me.

"Figure it out for yourself, Motor Brain. I smile to myself and think,
