Chapter 1
Sitting by the pool, Jo and Kendall were enjoying some much needed time off. Their schedules had been really hectic and in the process they had missed each other so much.
"I'm sooo glad Gustavo gave us the day off. Moe time to spend with my Jo-Jo," said Kendall smiling broadly, making his cute dimples stand out.
"It's been mad with your concert and my acting. How's your sundae?" asked Jo.
"Perfect because I'm sharing it with you," said Kendall as he went in for a kiss. Jo responded and the two love birds locked lips. When Kendall felt a presence, he stopped and looked up with a questioning look.
"Yes?" he said.
"Mr. Kendall Knight?" asked the delivery boy.
"That's me!"
"Parcel for you (he handed over the parcel) and could you sign here please," said the delivery boy as he handed Kendall a clipboard folder. Kendall signed and took delivery of the parcel.
"Cool…"
"What is it?" asked Jo.
"I don't know. I didn't order anything. Well, we won't know until I open it," said Kendall excitedly.
He ripped open the brown paper packaging and was starting to peel of the tape when Jo's phone rang. Kendall gave her a annoyed look as she shrugged her shoulders.
"Oh hi…what a photo shoot NOW! Where? Ok, I'll be out the front in 5," and she hung up. She looked at Kendall who was wearing a sour look on his face.
"Really? It was supposed to be our day…together…Jo?" whined Kendall.
"I know. But I have to go. Love you," she got up, kiss him on the cheek and hurried off.
"Yeah and give my love to Jett…NOT!" He sat there and looked around. All he could see were couples; kissing, hugging and laughing. He sighed. Then he remembered the parcel! He picked up the piece of tape that he had removed earlier and tore it off. He opened the flaps of the box and found newspaper. He removed the newspaper carefully and all the anticipation and joy disappeared. He swallowed hard as his eyes grew wide with fear. Inside the box was a miniature coffin. On the top it bore a message…RIP Kendall Knight.
