"Sharona," her sister Gail said to her, "we need to talk"
"What is it?"
"Sit down"
"Oh com-on Gail I'm busy right now. I don't have a lodda time"
"SIT DOWN," Gail repeated more firmly
"Fine," Sharona sighed
"I'm worried about you," Gail told her
"I'm fine," Sharona said, "now I have to go"
"Not so fast big sis. You are not fine. You've been really on Benjy's case lately"
"Well he's been fighting-"
"TO DEFEND A FRIEND," Gail exclaimed, "Remember Billy the bully?"
"Do you have to remind me of Billy the bully? He tormented me all the time"
"And that is what the kid that's picking on Benjy's friend has been doing and Benjy tried everything else before fighting"
"I know," Sharona said, "Gail please tell me you listened to me"
"Okay I listened to you"
"Did you really?"
"Maybe I did and maybe I didn't but I need you to listen to me right now"
"GAIL!"
"Sharona you were wrong and you know you were wrong"
"I can't talk about the right now"
"Come on Sharona you know I'm not going to let go of this"
Sharona sighed.
"Fine. Come with me. I DON'T want Benjy to hear this"
"Keeping secrets from your son?"
"GAIL please this is important"
"Okay," Gail sighed and followed Sharona.
"It's Trevor?"
"Your ex?"
"Do you know any other Trevor's? He's suing me for custody of Benjy"
"Oh GOD Sharona I'm sorry"
"I can't let him get into fights at school. The judge will think I'm a bad mother. Benjy will go to Trevor. I can't lose my son"
Gail slapped Sharona
"Ow wha-was that for?"
"FOR BEING AN IDIOT! SHARONA TREVOR IS A LOW LIFE LOSER WITH NO JOB AND NO AMBITION IN LIFE. WHAT CHANCE DO YOU THINK HE'LL HAVE OF WINNING CUSTODY OF BENJY"
"Well I never thought of it that way. But how do I apologize to Benjy"
"Well usually there are these two words you say if you want to apologize. It's called I'm sorry"
"He won't understand"
"DO I HAVE TO SLAP YOU AGAIN"

Later that night Sharona talked to Benjy. True to Gail's prediction Benjy understood. True to Gail's prediction Trevor lost the case"
Once again Gail was right as always.
