Thousand years of waiting

It was a full moon and a storm raged not just over the lands of her small English village but in side her as well. Tears rolled down the poor girl's cheeks as heavily as the rain poured from the sky. And she was running, not to the safety and comfort of home but to the empty cliff side over looking the ragged seas.

"I am a heathen," she cried," not of these people! My very soul sings the song of the woods! I know the pain of the earth and all that live upon her!"

She cried broken and ragged sobs until a warming touch was felt upon her shoulder.

"Girl, why be you amidst the storm, haunting and beautiful as a wraith," a tall blonde man asked, his Nordic blue eyes shining.

"My blood sings the wood land song and I feel so strong a pull on my heart that it breaks my very soul not to answer. I am alone my true family so close and yet so out of reach," she said backing towards the edge of the cliff. He reached for her but he couldn't catch her as she fell. Eric walked away certain those diamond pale eyes would haunt him for the rest of his existence.

~1000 years later~

Sookie Stackhouse woke from an unsettleing dream. Un like her which had been fill with a myriad of broken images, this had been a sceen . a broken girl crying out to her quickly fading gods asking for something she couldn't quite hear and then the girl had fallen from the cliff and into the raginh seas. Waters that when lit by the sun matched the color of his eyes. Sookie had always carried with her a mental image of the man she would love. Bill Compton was not this man but he was a nice distraction.

"sookie be wary of eric , he isn't like me," bill said , walking her to the door of the night club. Eric hid his annoyance at William comptons presence well, it was the woman be side him that shocked eric.

A millennium ago , he'd seen those very diamond eyes shining with grief at hearing a call she could not answer.

" sookie Stackhouse , im eric northman pleased to know you," he said , introducing him self.

" you found me " she said quietly. the two talked as if they had been friends for years and bill sat at the bar. it was pam who spoke first her words both calrifing and painful to him.

" for a thousand years he's carried her cursing every god for breacking one so obviously precious. be happy he's found her . finally they can be to gether and live the life they always should have," she said wiping a single bloody tear from her eye
