A/N: in honour of Demi Lovato's new amazing song. Feels so kogan-y to me, I couldn't stop myself from writing this. Hope you guys like it!

Even if the stars and moon collide, I never want you back into my life. You can take your words and all your lies. Oh oh oh, I really don't care.

Logan keeps the song on repeat as he absentmindedly thumbs down his twitter feed. For some reason, he can't keep Demi's new song out of his head. Sure, the song's great, the vocal work's as amazing as usual, but something in that song calls out to him, something that strikes him hard in the chest. Whenever the song plays, he mouths the song along with Demi, he mumbles it out loud when he's alone, he draws and sketches the lyrics in his song writing notebook over and over again. He can't concentrate on anything these days because the song blares out loud in his mind, resonating in the deepest parts of him. He feels the lyrics, he feels the bass line thumping along with his heartbeat.

Alright, he's lying. He knows exactly why he's drawn to the song.

It starts with a K and ends with his blonde band mate.

Kendall, Logan thinks, represents everything he hates – and loves. He hates how Kendall takes him for granted. He jets off for his Heffron Drive tour with Dustin, and all Logan gets is a text. The brunette has to check his boyfriend's twitter to see what he's up to. He hates that Kendall thinks that he can remedy all that with a kiss and I love you whispered into his ear.

Logan hates that Kendall's right.

He hates that he's left alone the very next day, with an empty cold space beside him. When Kendall returns in the dead of the night a few days later, he slips silently into bed next to Logan, wounding an arm around his lover's waist like it's the most natural thing to do after all but disappearing into thin air.

He hates that he can't reject Kendall.

He hates that he can't get mad at Kendall.

He hates that at the end of the day through all the lies and sweet talks, his heart still belongs to Kendall.

Oh oh oh, I really don't care.

The lyrics mock him endlessly. He can't do it. He can't.

Because Logan cares. He cares too damn much.

He's willing to do anything to have Kendall in his life, even if it means making the moon and stars collide.
