A Shadowed sorrow, cries at night
Will tomorrow bring
A broken hope, prepare for fight
Or so it will seem
Will she go quiet, violet eyes at sea
That is yet to know
For in that place she flew to meet
The love that had to grow
The winds of time look down
Upon the saddened maid
Her tears fall without a sound
Wishing against what she had paid
Was it her fault to love?
The cry of question sings
But the heavens from above
The answer, it does not bring
She cries to the mist, the stars, the moon
No one replies her call
She wonders if she will die soon
Or even if at all
Perhaps it was meant to be like this
Perhaps it is all true

She knew what she had to do

Cliff by day
Prepare to fight

They can't take her life
