The usual disclaimers apply.

She knew from years of experience that leaving the purchase of Christmas gifts until the last minute was never a good idea. It never worked out well. The wrapping gave it away really; it was never perfect, always drooping in one spot, the bow crooked. Her mother and Hermione always noticed, luckily both were tactile enough not to mention it.

Ginny Weasley sighed to herself as she unlocked the door to her apartment, and dropping the parcels in a neat pile by the door; she would wrap them later. As she walked to the kitchen to get a well earned stiff drink the realization suddenly hit. She had forgotten to get a gift for her boyfriend!

The glass she held smashed into a million pieces on the floor as the panic set in. Ginny snatched up her purse and ran out the door, thoughts flying past at a million miles per hour. What to buy him? Not a broom, he already had one of those, not a broom servicing kit, she got him one of those last year. A book? No, the library he had access to probably had every book in existence. Something from Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes? No, that wouldn't be special enough. A new cloak? That would be out of her budget.

Apparating into the Leaky Cauldron she waved a quick hello to Tom and made her way to the entrance to Diagon Alley. Florish and Blotts was closed, as was Madam Malkins. Shop after shop was closed;. Quickening her pace the panic began to worsen; everywhere was closed. "Oh for the love of Merlin!" she muttered to herself in frustration. She would have to go to Muggle London.

Something was finally going her way. The shopping complex was open! Problem one solved, problem two was still an issue; she still had no clue of what to get him. She looked at round silver thin disc things, something called an 'ipod', so far nothing had met the criteria. With a sigh Ginny left the store with the electricky things and entered another store. This one looked much more promising. A pretty looking assistant offered her help and help she did. Ginny left the store with a small parcel that would surely spark her boyfriend's interest. She made a mental note to thank Hermione for making her get one of those muggle money cards.

The early morning sunlight shone brightly through the window illuminating a pile of haphazardly wrapped presents upon the kitchen table. Ginny had managed to get everything done, albeit it had been a very early or late night depending on how you looked at it.

He knocked on the door to his girlfriend's apartment feeling apprehensive about the day ahead. He'd never been very interested in Christmas; it was more about show in his family.

Draco Malfoy stood in awe as the door to the apartment swung open revealing his beautiful red headed in girlfriend in nothing but a sequined Santa's little helper outfit, complete with the sexiest Christmas stockings he had ever seen.

"I could get used to this kind of Christmas" he said with a smirk as the door slammed behind him.
