So I just saw the deleted scene from breaking dawn with Alice and Jacob and I thought Jacob should've imprinted on Alice! All the problems could've been fixed if Alice was Jacob's imprintee so I wrote the scene speaking through Jacob's thoughts anyway hope u like it!
I heard another howl, sounding like Sam's this time.
I could hear a pair of dainty footsteps come to a stop right beside me I assumed it was Alice considering nobody else in the house was that small and graceful.
"Chatty aren't they?" She remarked, her voice sounding like shimmering crystals.
"Just trying to keep us on edge" I agreed feeling a strange urge to comfort her.
Ever since I first met her at least as a wolf I heard this voice in my head telling me to look at her, in the eyes. I'm happier when she's happy and without meaning to I want to protect her when she's in danger. I've kept it hidden from Sam and the pack as well as the Cullen's but I don't know what to think of it.
"It's working" she admitted with a sad look then moved closer to me, I almost smiled.
"What?" I asked in a defensive tone and immediately felt bad.
"I can't just stand next to you?" She asked mirroring my defensive tone.
"Okay" I remarked.
"See when I'm close to you it's like, being able to shut my eyes, everything goes away... Except for the wet dog smell" she ended with a joke at the end.
I laughed even though to any other Cullen I'd probably bite back with a comeback.
"Glad I could help someone" I said though I meant 'glad I could help you'.
Then I looked up, right into her eyes and everything changed.
It wasn't gravity holding me to the earth it was her, it was Alice nothing else mattered I will do anything be anything for her I no longer cared about vampires and werewolf's being natural enemy's because the only thing that mattered was her happiness and safety she didn't smell like the average vampire either because all the others smelt like bleach, she smelled like the sweetest scent I've ever inhaled.
