Misadventures of the Strongest Team
Summary: Because they're always stuck together, through good times and bad. Not that Lucy's complaining , but sometimes it's just too much for her to handle. Just like now.
One: Habits
"Go on upstairs, Lucy, I'll take care of this." Erza waved Lucy off, eyes fixed on the parchment laid on top of the receptionist's desk. Gray stood beside Erza with his hands shoved in his pockets, "You too, Gray."
Gray shrugged and waved Lucy off, too. "Nah, I'll stay with you for a while. You go ahead, Lucy."
"Whatever you two, this means I'll get the best bed."
"I hardly think so," Gray scoffed, "Natsu's already upstairs."
"W-What? Then I won't hold back, too." Lucy nodded to herself and sprinted up the stairs, trunk haphazardly slamming against the steps without abandon.
Reaching the door to their room, she took a deep breath and pushed the door open, "Hey, Natsu, how is the room, good enough for us—?"
She stepped in and surveyed the room for a moment, eyes fixed on the two twin-sized bed on the left side of the room, wondering where the Salamander is.
"Yeah, Lucy," Natsu's voice rang in the opposite side of the room. She turned to the Dragon Slayer, a frown on her face for not answering quickly, "This room is—"
And was greeted by his bare chest and six-pack abs (which was perfectly normal)
And a certain something that is supposedly private in other people's eyes.
"N-NATSU!" Acting on impulse at Natsu's stupidity and indifference about the situation, Lucy hurled her trunk at his direction,
"W-Wha—" the sound of her trunk hitting his face and him falling down echoed inside the room.
"Don't you know anything, you moron?" Lucy exclaimed, beet red and panicking. Her hands shook as she covered her face. His private part, oh Mavis, oh Mavis, what did she do to deserve such companions? It took her a long time to ignore Gray's exposed flesh and now—now—
Natsu sat up straight and shook his head, hand cradling his nose, "That hurt, Lucy." He heaved the trunk up and cast it away, baring, once again, everything to Lucy. "What was that for, Lu—HEY! Stop hurling things—OW!"
Lucy stomped away from him and made her way towards the door with a flushed face, "Stop hanging around with, Gray!"
Natsu pushed himself up and hung his head, pouting at the ambiguous message Lucy said. "Oi, Lushii, what's that supposed to mean? Oi, Lucy!"
"Oi, oi," Gray arrived and pulled Lucy back inside the room. "why am I being dragged in your argument now—NATSU!"
"What? What the hell is wrong with you people?"
"Why don't you answer that yourself?!" Both Gray and Lucy exclaimed, eyes averted from him.
"What's this commotion all about?" Erza entered the room with her hands on her hips and a menacing glare aimed at the three, "You three are creating a ruckus, if we get thrown out of this—NATSU!"
Natsu cringed and held his hands up in surrender, "E-Erza?"
"PUT SOME CLOTHES ON, YOU IDIOT!"
"What?" Natsu glanced down and released a scream before covering his exposed self and running towards the bathroom, "A-Aye!"
Lucy shook her head and sighed, "Get away from him, Gray, you're starting to rub off on him. I can't take two strippers in the team."
