Too Big
"There is the ticket booth." Jackie told Nick.
There was a small carnival going on just outside of Vegas so Nick and Jackie decided to take the kids. They bought tickets and the thing the kids wanted to do first was the pony ride.
Each of the kids was led along on a pony by a carnival worker, the kids had so much fun on the ponies that they didn't want to get off. After the pony ride the kids wanted to ride on other rides but they had to take turns going with Nick because Jackie couldn't go on the rides with them because pregnant women couldn't ride on them and Jackie's parents were out of town and so they couldn't go with the family to the carnival.
"Come on mama." Johnna said as she pulled on her arm, trying to get her to get in line to go on the ride with them.
"Honey mama can't go on the rides."
"Why mama?" Johnna asked.
Jackie didn't have time to answer her though because Jasmine did it for her
"Mama tummy to big." Jasmine told her sister.
"Thank you Jazz." Jackie said sarcastically as she and Nick struggled mightily not to laugh.
"What a stinker." Jackie told Nick.
"She never ceases to amaze me." Nick responded.
After Nick had taken the kids on nearly every ride at the carnival they played the carnival games until each of the kids had won a stuffed animal which seemed like it took forever.
"What do you say we grab some lunch and then get out of here, I'm hungry, it's really hot out here, and the kids are getting tired and restless?" Jackie asked Nick.
"Sounds like a plan to me." He responded.
The family grabbed some lunch and after they had eaten they made the long trek back to their car.
Nick and Jackie put all the stuffed animals in the trunk and then buckled the kids in the car.
"Do you need help getting in the car Jacks?" Nick asked half jokingly.
Jackie laughed.
"Nope I can do it, even though my tummy is too big." She responded.
Nick burst out laughing as he climbed into the drivers' side and started the car.
The kids were so exhausted from all the activities that they were all asleep before they had even gotten 3 miles down the road.
"Man that really tuckered them out." Nick said.
"Yeah, it tuckered me out too." Jackie replied.
"Me too, but I had a good time." Nick told her.
Jackie agreed, it had been a fun day but then again whatever they did, as long as they did it as a family Jackie considered it fun.
