My Heart Always Wanders…
I am waiting…
I stop my bike and sigh along with the breeze
that the green sea seems to be singing all the time.
The sun had finished playing with the clouds
and is now letting the moon take over the white night.
Gazing at the dancing waves,
I travel back to the patched road of my memories.
"I miss you" are the words I still cannot say…
What a coward I am.
You wanted to fly,
to see the world above and beyond the sky.
So…..what can I say,
say to make you stay?
The sky begins to cry,
as moonlight starts fading away.
Empty cries fill the azure air…
Is the sea mourning?
You are gone…
I can't see you anymore…
It feels like I'm falling
Into an opaque abyss.
I feel like a broken angel at times,
unable to fly when I'm needed the most…
Is that how you feel whenever you weren't there
to help me when I'm lost?
You once said to me that protecting someone
isn't as easy as it seems…
that you can't stop every drop of rain
from falling onto my head.
Then, why? Why?
Why is it…that the rain makes me want to cry?
What makes the rain seems so sad
that I want to cry out?
Even so…I want to be the rain,
so I can reach out to people and know their feelings…
Let me be the rain so maybe I can connect with their hearts…
Maybe then I'll be able to see you one more time…
