Written on a whim, derived from Gold Digger.
Téa writes. Seto recites.
I know not of any other, it was 'You' for all I asked,
And in glory of your acceptance, my little heart basked.
Under the shades of blistering azures, Home – I proclaimed,
Ironies, taunts, sarcasms, I even loved your disdain!
I lamented neither your dark moods, nor your accusations,
Not even the overly quipped - 'friendship' recitations!
Submitting to your will – you had me in a bind,
Yet in that domination, much solace did I find.
At the strange sight of us, the world's teeth in grind,
Heck, my friends often thought- I was out of my mind!
For those who rose against you, against them I turned my ire,
For your love, for your sake – I even walked on fire!
But you pushed me away - your assertions were too bold,
I was after you, Seto – and not after your Gold!
Banished from your home and heart, destiny had me mould,
Over the decade, my warmth and spirit, every inch was sold!
I'm bitter, angry, cold, unkind! Never once will I yield,
Reel back now my husband-foe, I suggest you flee the field!
I'm not what I once was; I've changed and made a name,
I've the strength to challenge World, even conquer your domain!
Think twice before you accuse me, Seto - for lack of faith on my part,
If I lacked in faith - it's because you did Nothing to win my heart!
Reviews appreciated... a lot! Next, Seto replies her back. Thank You!
