Hermione Granger sat in the Hogwarts library, she was hunched over a book, but she did not comprehend a word. She was hiding it was a habit she had gotten into. To everyone Hermione seemed to be one of those kids that only studies, that does not give a thought to the other things in life. None of this was true, Hermione, in fact used her books as an escape, as an excuse, and did in fact study a lot less than everyone believed (which was still more than the average student).
Hermione sat staring at the all too familiar pages of Hogwarts a history not aware of the words on the page or the world around her, this in afterthought was her downfall.
Draco Malfoy saw Hermione sitting in a corner of the library. Her bushy hair held at bay by a few clips, preventing it from obscuring her view of the book she was reading, he sighed inwardly fully aware that what he was planning to do (should his father find out) most definitely get him disowned. With a deep breath he silently walked over behind Hermione and placed a hand either side of her, he was puzzled slightly when she showed no sign of being aware that he was there he leant down till his lips were just beside her left ear.
"Granger, you are too beautiful." He whispered softly
she spun around in surprise her lips by pure chance connecting with his for a moment they stayed like that, then both jerked away. Draco smirked his eyes betraying his disappointment as he without a word left the library.
Hermione Granger sat hunched over a book, not comprehending a word smiling slightly, something told her that she was going to have a lot more to do than pretend to study for quite a while.
