Disclaimer: "I am not tolkien. I repeat I am NOT tolkien. Thank you."

Side note: I plan to have a story up and running or at least started before March 15.

Fading of an Elf

Rating: G

I built up around me a tall thick wall

never to crumble, and never to fall.

I live in a castle of old grey stone,

where the wind blows cold, and im always alone.

I retreat to the shadows, away from the light

given up hope, choosing not to fight.

Im here from my choice, a decision that I made,

and living off my memories as I begin to fade.

Don't feel sorry for me , and please do not cry

There's nothing left you can do for me, except to say "goodbye"

My friend you have always been so dear-

As long as you remember me, I will always remain near.

The shadows are being to take me, they begin to feel so close

I can almost smell the salty sea and hear the waves on the coast

My exhale my last breath and now my soul is free,

and for once in my life no darkness can take me.

I see off in the distance a glowing blessed light,

Just remember what I said and everything will be alright.

"It doesn't matter where you roam,

Im always here, your never alone."
