My first songfic. I don't own. Extremely angsty. Listen to with El Manana. Suicide fic.
Summer don't know me no more
Eager man, that's all
The young green-skinned man stepped out onto the roof. His mismatched eyes searched across the wasteland he called home. The rain soaked him through, but he was numb, unfeeling.
Summer don't know me no more
He just let me love in myself
'Cause I do know, Lord,
from you that
Just died, yeah
A wave of nausea swept over him, the enormity of what he was doing, the people he was leaving behind, his band...his family. The young girl, the calm man, his blue haired lad, he was the hardest to tell, they wanted him to get help. A twisted smile came over his face when remembered this. Help. There was nothing wrong with him that a doctor would solve. It was something deeper, much darker, darker than the NHS could ever imagine.
I saw that day,
Lost my mind
Lord, I'm fine
Maybe in time
You'll want to be mine
It was his birthday. He was twenty seven, the age when you're no-longer too young to die. Or so they said.
Another tear.
Another step.
To go with the greats, for your name to go down in history. That's what everyone wants, isn't it? The irony, you have to die young to be immortalised.
Don't stop the buck when it comes Money won't get there
It's the dawn, you'll see
Ten years passed tonight
you'll flee
If you do that,
I'll be someone
To find you
He slipped his shoes and shirt off when he reached the edge of the building. To go with nothing, so the holy men would say. This was it, the last movement.
To be the beautiful tragedy of a broken heart, then to be the sick, twisted monster that he would become.
I saw that day,
Lost my mind
Lord, I'm fine
Maybe in time
You'll want to be mine
With a final tear he jumped. And Murdoc Niccals died, the way everyone expected he would, a lonely life ended with a lonely death, the tangled body lying on the wet concrete, the only proof of his existence.
I saw that day,
Lost my mind
Lord, I'm fine
Maybe in time
You'll want to be mine
Maybe in time
You'll want to be mine
Maybe in time
You'll want to be mine ...
