Without any clue as to what would happen in that very spot, Marion could be seen reading on the steps of the historical Obelisk.
There was a sudden burst of wind throughout all the surrounding area, yet it was far from the average fall breezes one would come to know. This was powerful beyond that even the Saurian's had taken an ill notice of it. The most bizarre part however, was when there came ominous clouds from seemingly nowhere, almost completely blocking out the sun as if it were night.
There was a blinding bolt of thunder as it struck the side of the Obelisk, followed by a great crash of thunder the likes of which most had never heard in all their lives. As the wind picked up more it felt as though something was preparing to happen... something great.
Strike after strike of lightning did what was once thought impossible! It had repeatedly hit the same spot in the clearing before the monument in quick succession, efficiently blinding all those with the massive energy build up. In the minutes after the natural phenomenon there was a sudden, ear-splitting, heart-wrenching, blood-curdling scream from within the remaining light. Everyone could have sworn that the clearing was... well clear!
The scream died with the lingering echoed thunder, but even Marion was too astonished by it all to see if the poor soul had survived What shocked the now congregated Dinotopian's most was that it was none other than one Cyrus Crabb who braved the unknown for the sake of his curiosity. Even Cyrus was speechless at the sight as it was revealed...
It was a woman... maybe.
