I've written this little story for two challenges at the HPFC-forum. 100 stories under 100 words by ErynPotter and Lyric and Line Challenge by RoonilFreakin'Wazlib.
100 stories...: I used Broken as a theme and title.
Lyric and...: The pair, Ginny Weasley/Viktor Krum. A song, Signed, sealed, delivered by Steve Wonder, which I used as inspiration. A quote, "The mouth is made for communication, and nothing is more articulate than a kiss." - Jarod Kintz, which I used directly in the story.
Word count: 90
Hermione Granger had gone back to Ronald Weasley. A fourth time.
Viktor Krum did not know what to believe anymore.
He guessed that he had done something, something to upset her.
Or maybe she just belonged with Ronald.
Bullshit.
On his way down the stairs he met Ginny Weasley. The sister.
"Oh, you've been at Hermione's?"
He nodded.
"You don't talk much do you?"
"The mouth is made for communication, and nothing is more articulate than a kiss."
Then Viktor kissed her. And it felt good.
"I'm engaged."
"I'm heartbroken."
