Full summary: Muteki and Setsuna are the two eldest children of Inuyasha and Kagome. They reflect on their lives as they battle against their human night, and wounds. Muteki; fire, Setsuna; water, polar opposites. But as they all say 'Opposites Attract'
A young man stood at the top of a hill, eyes guarded.
He stood at about six feet, with short silver hair, mocha eyes, and mix-matched dog ears on his head.
His name is Muteki*.
He was wearing a dark blue haori, with matching blue hakama, bare-foot, and a pissed off look plastered on his face.
Muteki stood tall and proud on te hill looking over the village that had been near his home since he was born.
At the ripe age of sixteen he was dubbed the protector of the village along with his father, and aunt.
His sister however, followed in the footsteps of his mother and aunt, a miko* and a Youkai-Taijiya*.
His sister was wearing a more feminine version of his haori* and hakama* set, only it being magenta-ish color, she too was barefoot, but she had a impassive look on her face.
They were both Hanyou's*, but at least they aren't ridiculed as much as their parents were...
His sister, Setsuna* stood next to him choosing to hum a tune her mother had taught her.
Setsuna was fourteen years old with long black hair, golden eyes, and black dog ears atop her head.
Around Muteki's neck was a necklace made of small red beads, some separated by a single white fang-looking bead every so often.
On Setsuna's wrist was a pretty red and purple bracelet held together by a single black bead,
These sealed their blood-thirsty demonic half that wouldn't blink at the sight of a destroyed village, merely smile sadistically, then continue on.
The siblings looked at eachother nodding, before bolting off to slay the demon terrorizing a neighboring village.
It was about a four days travel, but at least they spent time with eachother.
When they reached the village, Setsuna did the talking instead of Muteki, who was more reserved and preferred to fight first, talk later.
They waited until the demon (which consequentially was a cat demon) started attacking.
Muteki jumped up and called out a attack his father has used before, " Iron Reaver Soul Stealer!" effectively separating the demon from the villagers.
The cat demon hissed in fury and raked it's claws across Muteki's stomach.
" Setsuna!"
" On it!"
She raced up the right arm, making a heavy swipe with her claws at the left arm, face remaining indifferent when it fell in a bloody heap.
The demon snarled, enraged at half-demon who wounded him, and slashed at her back as she jumped away.
" Setsuna!"
" Focus! Don't worry about me!" Setsuna gritted out through clenched teeth, then springing up and taking another swipe at the right arm, leaving it in the same condition as the left.
" Now, Muteki!"
" Kaze Akumu"!" He screamed and slashed his great fang in the cat demon's direction, disintegrating the demon, leaving only just and five long gashes in it's wake.
He then sheathed his fang, and turned his attention to his bleeding sister.
" You okay?"
" Yeah, Lets..Lets get...Back..." Setsuna passed out in her brothers arms, still bleeding, unable to finish her half-assed sentence.
" Damnit. Hey! Can we stay here for the night? We're kinda injured..." Muteki called to the headman, cursing even more when the sky turned dark and his sister's features and his own changed to their human side.
' Damnit! I forgot! Tonight's the new fucking moon! Just fucking great!' He thought in a panic as he examined his sisters wound, finding it to be deep and blood soiling his haori.
Good thing their clothes repair themselves and clean themselves too.
Not the point though.
" Yes, considering you just saved our village, and your Imouto*" The headman said, and guided them to the village healer.
After the healer had applied a salve to Setsuna's wound, she applied some to Muteki's wound as well, then wrapped their bandages and sent them to futons for rest.
The next morning the siblings woke up to their half-demon strength and physical features, got dressed, thanked the headman and his village for the hospitality, then set off for home.
When they returned to their village, the went strait home, and winced upon hearing their mothers shrill cry of ' what the bloody name of hell happened to you two?!'
" We fought a Cat Youkai, and it injured us. The villagers let us stay the night so at least we got to heal a bit. Their not as bad now." Setsuna said.
" I'm just glad you're back. I don't like being separated from my munchkins." Their mom said and hugged both.
" God damnit you two! Can't send either one of you on a mission with out one or the other injured." Their surly father growled from the doorway.
" Oh hush now, they had time to heal."
" Kagome? Are you home?" Muteki and Setsuna's aunt Sango, called as she walked in the hut.
" Hi, Sango."
" How are you two?"
" Fine. We did get a few scratches from that damn cat, and despite the fact that last night was our human night, we're fine."
" What?! It was your human night?! I shouldn't have let you go!" Kagome cried.
" Calm down sweetie, the pregnancy hormones are getting to your head again." Sango sweatdropped, as she patted Kagome's shoulder.
Currently their mom was five months in her pregnancy with their younger sibling.
" Calm down Okaa-San*..." Setsuna said albeit weakly, still a bit effected by her wound.
" Well, it's time for you two to get some rest! Off to bed, now march!" Kagome commanded her children, saluting them like a soldier.
Their father sweatdropped.
They all settled down for the night, the teenagers having a bit more trouble because of their wounds, their father calling out 'Karma's a bitch!' almost everytime they winced or whimpered, earing a few slaps from their mother.
