If this man was the light, then Montparnasse was the darkness
One man would would die young in a blaze of glory and one would waste away
One would sacrifice while another would perserve himself
Never quite opposites for they had some similar attribues
and while they found themseves in each others beds
In alleys and stolen rooms
Those differences melted away
and when one young man fufilled his self proclaimed destiny...
the other wilted in the most awful way.
