Date 487 AL Wolf Den System.
Fleet Admiral Sir Theodore Burfoot Earl Greenback BWRN enters the High Admiral's office. "Your Grace Fleet Admiral Burfoot Reporting as ordered." he says. "At ease Admiral." the High Admiral says as she looks up at him.
"Admiral Burfoot you are going to head up a Colony effort mission. You will have 5 squadrons of ships to protect the 3 Colony ships. the Squadrons are the 4th Battle Squadron, 235th Carrier Squadron, 8th Battlecrusier Squadron, 52nd Cruiser Squadron and Destroyer Squadron 984, we are also giving you 3 Pack Class Defence ships as well. This group will be called Task Group 786 Do you have any questions Admiral?" She asks.
"No questions Your Grace." He tells her.
"Dismissed Admiral." She says saluting. Fleet Admiral Burfoot returns the salute and walks out of the office. He exits the building and he see's a old friend. "General Evans how are you?" he asks a smallish man in the uniform of the Royal Marines.
"Very good Admiral what brings you here to Military HQ?" he asks.
"I have just been assigned to a colony Task Group. I am slating it to leave in 60 hours. I do not know how long it will be before we come back but they have givin me 5 Squadrons of ships with 3 DF ships. so I can take care of anything that comes my way." So what are you doing now?" he asks.
"I am now incharge of the 456th Marine Division on the Aries the latest Golf Class Assult ship. We are going to the Yellow Den System where we will be garrisoning the former Draconis World. Hey can we hitch up with your group so we can have some screening elements?"
Admiral Burfoot thinks quickly and says, "Sure move your ship into the DF detachment. Now we can really handle anything out there." Both officers salute and part company with Admiral Burfoot heading to his shuttle.
The shuttle rises up and heads off world and makes a final approach to Admiral Burfoot's Flagship, BWNS GreyWolf SD-476. The shuttle attaches to the docking ring and the tube attaches. Admiral Burfoot rises from his seat and floats down the tube. the side party snaps to attention and the speakers say, "TASK GROUP 786 ARRIVING." Admiral Burfoot exits the tube and salutes the Kingdom flag than the Bay Control Officer. Admiral Burfoot walks down the hall and enters a lift heading to the flag bridge.
Admiral Burfoot takes a communicator from his pocket. "Sam set-up a confrance with the squadron and division commanders in 50 mins I am on my way." he says into it.
the lift stops on the Flag Deck and Admiral Burfoot walks to his chair. "Admiral the commanders are ready." the Flag Communications Officer says. the Comm console on his chair comes to life and 26 faces come on the screen.
"Ok we leave in 60 hours in Company with 3 Colony ships, and we are getting the Aries the latest Golf Assult ship. The 4th Battle Squadron will be Swapping 4 of their SD's for 4 DN's from the 67th. we also will have 3 Pack Ships. so we are now Task Group 786 when we get where we are going to we will become the main elemnts of the new 768th Fleet. We are going to pass near the Sol border so we will be on heavy guard as they are taking on the Alliance we can only return fire if fired appon. all our ships of the wall and the battlecruisers are of the Missle unit models which means we can carry 80,000 missle units as a fleet. so we will be responsiable for over 300,000 Colonists. Crew recall in 50 hours let's be about it people." Admiral Burfoot says to the assembled commanders. He than walks to his cabin and goes to sleep.
Date 490 AL Wolf Den System
The ships of Task Group 786 start assembling around the 3 Behemoth Class Colony ships. 67 ships form up and make ready for departure. Admiral Burfoot walks to his chair "Send command to group to get underway." he says as he sits in his chair. The 67 ships move out from Wolf's Den orbit and head into H-Space.
The Small Experimental ship moves from system 564 to Wolf's den it's coarse would take it near Task Group 786 as it passes by the Group something goes wrong and the ship blows up sending the Task Group back in time. just how far back in time no one really knew but where about to find out.
