Hello. Cybelle here and this is my first story: Lemur trouble. Sorry if the title is lame and I'm going to use my OC, Vanessa. If you want to know more about her, please visit my profile. So, enjoy this chapter and review after reading.

~Chapter one~

After a mission at dawn, the penguins lay flat on the floor, on the table or on the bunk. In the lemur habitat, Julien was pacing back and forth, which was a surprise for Maurice and Mort. They have never seen the lemur king so excited and worried. Julien began muttering as Maurice decided to make a smoothie. Mort stared at Julien for minutes until he needs to blink.

When the sun came, Julien was still pacing back and forth and Mort fell asleep. In the penguin habitat, Skipper was spying with the binoculars, Kowalski was busy in his lab, Private was watching 'Telly' and Rico was eating fish. Not so long, they heard a girlish scream from the lemur habitat and left to see what was going on.

As they arrived at the lemur habitat, thee penguins saw a medium-sized crate with the shipping papers from Madagascar. Julien hugged the crate and tried opening the crate.

"Ringtail, what is the meaning of this?" Skipper asked, pointing at the crate.

"This is the gift the Sky spirits promised me." Julien gleamed as he hugged the crate again.

"Okay, it says here... A female ring-tailed lemur." Kowalski pointed out. "I guess the zoo keepers sent this when they were in Madagascar, Africa."

"Rico! Crowbar." Skipper ordered as Rico regurgitated a crowbar into Skipper's flippers.

Skipper twirled the crowbar as he threw it on air and it landed on the small opening of the crate. Skipper hopped on the crowbar, which made the crowbar bend and hit all the surroundings, and the crate opened. The crowbar had hit Kowalski in the left eye then Private's right eye.

"Ow!" They exclaimed as they fell backwards. "My eye!"

"Hello..." A female monotone voice greeted.

The penguins and the lemurs gasped as they saw the female lemur left the crate. She had green eyes that looks like poisoned ones. Kowalski and Julien stared the female lemur as she waved her tail slowly.

"I'm Vanessa. Nice to meet you." The female lemur, named Vanessa, introduced. "And you are?"

"Classified." Skipper announced.

"You are?" Vanessa pointed at Private.

"Private."

"You?"

"Oh, he's Rico. You might not understand him but his actions speaks louder than his words." Private smiled.

"And him?"

"K-Kowalski." Kowalski stammered as he shook flippers/paws with her and a spark happened between them.

"Isn't that Polish?" Vanessa blushed as she kept a straight face.

"W-why yes."

"Okay, who's the other lemur who keeps staring at me like I'm his last favorite food?" Vanessa asked as she pointed at Julien.

"Why, I am the king of course! And you are-"

"Not interested to be your queen, your highness." Vanessa said as she raised a paw in front of him. "I'm sorry but I would like it if you are only my friend."

"Ooh, you just got owned by a female." Skipper joked. "So? How about a tour?"

"I would love that but who would take me on a-"

"I will!" Julien and Kowalski exclaimed simultaneously. "No I will! I will!"

"I pick the penguin with the brains." Vanessa said, crossing her paws together.

"Yes!" Kowalski smiled as he and Vanessa left the habitat.

So, this is the first chapter and the next chapter will be the tour. So please review on what habitat I should place first.
