Summery: 4 million years ago, the Autobots were preparing to leave Cybertron. Starscream's ambitions were failing and soon the Autobots would leave and Energon would be wasted in a pursuit of them. but a unexpected visitor meets Starscream and gives him the knowledge to defeat the Autobots and Megatron in one fell swoop. how is this possible?. (alternate timeline story)

Transformers: Reign of Starscream

Prologue:

Unexpected acquaintance

The planet Cybertron, 4 million years ago

It was a few months before the Autobots, were due to leave Cybertron in their 'Ark' and the ship, was still being modified for long distance travel with Armour, weapons and advanced engines though, there was still work to be done and more Energon to find, but the war had taken its toll on the precious Energon reserves remaining and even a puddle was worth it.

While in Kaon things could not be better, the Autobots were on the verge of defeat and the Decepticons still had a considerable amount of energon left. With only Iacon remaining the Decepticons were preparing for a final assault on the Autobots before they left, with everything at their disposal.
Within the city of Kaon, Starscream was in jet mode flying through the tall buildings/structured that towered over everything. Below him armies of cybertronians were preparing for war with various blasters, war machines, artillery, tanks and thousands of troops at Megatron's beck and call.

Starscream sat on top of a building overlooking almost the entire city, here be began his usual contemplating/whining/monologue to himself. ''CURSES...Megatron has almost defeated the Autobots and I, am no closer to leading the Decepticons, once Optimus prime is destroyed I have no chance to takeover''. He sat in frustration and looked towards the space bridge. 'Shockwaves tower' he thought to himself 'with that Megatron can take our armies, anywhere in the universe provided we have the energon and at the moment, it is being wasted on this planned assault on the Autobots'.

He went further into frustration; he had no plans for killing Megatron at all and no idea what opportunities he could exploit. Suddenly a huge burst of energy appeared from a side street, an energy unknown to Starscream it appeared for a few clicks before dissipating. 'Hmm' he thought, 'interesting occurrence perhaps I shall investigate'. He Transformed and flew towards the sight.
The area was still affected by the energy, so Starscream couldn't see much but what he did see, was some sort of large Cybertronian sphere and a figure. ''Identify yourself' he said cautiously, the energy field had evaporated and the figure could be seen, he turned towards Starscream but did not say his name.

''I'm sure you recognise me, and I have come to ensure that your destiny will be fulfilled. Megatron will perish and you will lead the Decepticons to a bright future free from Megatron's idiocy''. The cybertronian waited for his words to sink in.

Starscream was gobsmacked; nothing could have prepared him for this. ''How is this possible you cannot really be... how are you here?''. Starscream was certainly pleased at the situation but he needed to know the facts.

''well'' he said, patting the sphere ''let's talk I have 4 million years worth of stories to tell you''.

END OF PROLOGUE.

PLEASE NOTE: THis s what you would call a teaser trailer sort of thing. You Don't really need it to getthe story. It just sets the scene. So Please don't leave, PLEASE, PLEASE PLEASE, just read the next couple of chapters, it gets way better I promise. The last few chapters are a load of fun. And the first few are heavily detailed and pay major attention to the characters. So read some more before leaving. Please R&R and do other thing you do.
