The Men she Picks
Author: Alicia
Category: Vignette
Rating: Let's say A PG
Spoilers: A small, Yelina related one for end of Season 2.
Summary: Thoughts on Yelina and the men she picks.
Feedback: Sure why not? If I wasn't a glutton for punishment, I'd have picked a different career.
A/N: This is my first CSI-Miami fic. All my other stories have been JAG related. I find it interesting that like my first JAG story I have no idea whose point of view this story is in. I lean toward it being Alexx but that's just me.
Disclaimer: I don't own them. If I did, I'd be starting my summer vacation a lot earlier than June 10.
This hasn't been beta'd. All mistakes are mine.
There go Yelina and Stetler. I wonder where they're off to. Horatio said that Yelina had plans for the weekend, I'd have thought she'd want to get going.
Well they looked awfully cozy. I must be blind. She's dating Stetler! She's dating someone from the rat squad. I don't believe it. I can understand wanting to date. It's been a long time since Ray died and I'm sure she's lonely, but Stetler.
It's not even that she's dating a cop. I mean, let's face it, her best chance of meeting someone is work and that means a cop or a victim.
Did she have to pick Stetler. Does she not see it? Stetler would love to have Horatio's head and badge on a platter. How can she date someone who wants to destroy her brother-in-law? I can't believe she doesn't see it.
Then again, maybe it does make sense. Look at her, she's not a great judge of men.
She married Ray. She didn't know about the drugs, the extramarital activities, or the drugs.
She doesn't see the way Horatio looks at her. How can she miss that?
Everybody knows how honorable Horatio is, except Yelina. She thinks he's Madison's father. I supposed I should give her points for realizing the girl is all Caine but there's no way Horatio would have sex with a snitch or someone he met on an investigation. Everyone who knows Horatio, knows this except Yelina.
She's dating Stetler. Given her previous choices in men, I suppose it makes sense.
I just hope the rest of us don't have to pay for her poor choices in men.
