Ah, how close I came to forgetting
Back home, the leaves would be falling
But on these other worlds, the seasons were not the same

The feeling of foreboding that overtook me
Even now, I remember the day vividly
You were turned away
You didn't move when we turned to leave
The twilight sun was shining in your eyes
Somehow I knew that it was goodbye

Such a casual lie you told me
What reason was there to agree?
When I knew the words being spoken before me were not the truth?

Little did I know it would soon be the end
Lost in a deception of blood red eyes
The last days passed in reality's nightmare
Raveling the barren wastelands of Nox Obscurus
Ah, I should have known then
I should have been able to sense your unforgettable presence
But I did not want to believe
That fate had separated you and me

But back home
The autumn leaves were being covered with the sky's tears, pure white snow
Falling alongside my sorrow
