Italics: Lyrics
***
I was knee deep in a sick love
I was cross eyed under your drug
Schizo savior, mad messiah
Fatal worship you inspired
Gone, I don't believe in you now
I've seen too much
I don't believe in you now
My Goddess
Asakura Hao… the name was a messenger, knocking at the door in her brain with a bouquet of mixed emotions. The bouquet was filled with shades of red, from the dull crimson frustration at his immortal smile, to the bright red anger because he'd killed so many people, and also the gentle hue of pink admiration at his carefree personality. All in all, she loved him. And hated him. Amen.
She enjoyed those hours in her bloody sarcophagus. It gave her time to think, time to sort out her emotions, time to relax. The cover to her sarcophagus closed, impaling her onto the long spikes. She shuddered at the pleasure and pain of feeling the cold metal penetrate her skin, driving deeper into her body, ripping the tender tissue, tearing her veins, piercing her muscles… All this to defeat Asakura Hao. She loved this sensation, yet she hated it, as well.
You were counting on a freefall
You laid your bet I would lose all
Chalk up one less crucifixion
I kicked that sick, old addiction
Down, I don't believe in you now
I've seen too much
I don't believe in you now
My Goddess
I stare blankly at the Maiden-sama's sarcophagus. I could imagine her in there now, bleeding until she was as pale as the blinding light of the sun, making me force my eyes to the ground whenever I see her. We are all training so rigorously to defeat Asakura Hao, the one who killed innocents, the one who fed the souls of the departed to his monster, the one who killed my loving parents, and… the one who stole Maiden-sama.
The other X-laws, like Marco-san, were too wrapped up in their own training to notice the change of behavior in Maiden-sama. Didn't notice that faint blush dance across her cheeks whenever we mentioned Hao. Didn't notice that faint tremble whenever she told us about her plans to defeat him. Didn't notice that mist descend upon her eyes whenever we spoke of him. She was doing well enough to cover it up; she could still concentrate on whatever it was we were talking about. Only one who paid close attention to her could see the minute changes.
Now you see what you get when you lose yourself
What you get when you don't know who you are
When you don't know who you are
My Goddess
Maiden-sama… with her admiring Hao, I feel betrayed. Slowly, my respect for her is detoriating, crumbling into an insignificant dust. It used to be that I admired her as though she were a goddess—well, she was one to me. She was like a savior, a messiah, one who brought me out of the anguish from my parent's death, giving me enough strength to one day face Asakura Hao and defeat him.
Turning, I jog back to the flat area where the others were training. I hope that, one day, I will surpass Hao, defeat him, and show Maiden-sama how horrible of a person he really is.

A.N.: I just… *couldn't* continue. T_T;; But, I think it's fine as is, right? Right? Anyway… Yes, the second paragraph was rather… *cough* I didn't mean for it to turn out that way. Damn, is this all because I still have to write a Naruto lime? T_T;;;
Anyway, C&C is appreciated.
