Will's apprentice
The young boy's name was Cody, he was 15, he had secretly crashed the Ranger's annual meeting, and nobody had noticed him yet. He leapt from cover to cover behind tables and tents, inside one of them he heard the famous Ranger Will talking to Gilan and Halt, 'You don't understand how important this is' he said, Halt's voice came in 'Yes we do, why do you want an apprentice so bad anyway. They're small and annoying, like you two', now Gilan spoke 'you're one to talk.' Cody was running now, however he tumbled and crashed into a table, making a loud noise, the three Rangers came out of the tent and saw the young boy. 'How did you get in here?' asked Gilan, 'I sneaked in' said Cody. Will went closer to him 'you sneaked past Senior Rangers?' he said, Cody nodded, 'well you really are good aren't you. Seems to me you have two choices, go to jail for one year for trespassing or join me as my apprentice' said Will, Halt looked to the sky and said 'oh god help him' 'I'll join you' said Cody as soon as he finished talking.
The next day Cody walked to Will's cabin in the woods, he stepped onto the veranda and was about to knock on the door, however before he could the door was opened by a fresh faced girl, she was about fifteen years old and had Will's eyes. She ran towards a room, and seconds later Will came out with the girl next to her 'Cody meet my daughter Natalie, she is in training as a courier' he said. Cody thought she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen, but if he had said that Will would probably put an arrow in his back.
