Nixon's Tape
Post Vortex story.
Chloe wanted to check the area where Mr. Kent was found after a strange feeling she had. " I know there is more to this!" She was thinking to her self. It was late at night and she was all alone. She only had a flashlight to help her. She was a bit scared and wished she asked Pete to come with her. She could barely see any thing when her light started to flicker out. It was a cold night and she started to shiver. "I wished I had Clark to keep me warm. Dumb Chloe Clark just wants Lana I am only his buddy." She said to herself. She tripped over a large black object. " What the heck was that?" She said while bending down to see what it was. It was a large video camera she saw earlier. " Weird, what is a camera doing all the way out here!." She checked to see if there was any tape or cartages to the camera to figure out how it got here. " I got a Blair witch feeling." She laughed to herself . There was no film in the camera. She looked around the area where the camera was to see if she could find any thing. It was so dark out here. She started to walk around a larger area to find some thing to help her solve this mystery. Her flashlight started to work better again after she hit it a few times. " Work you dumb light." She wanted to know what was on this camera. Her light then flashed off of some thing a few feet away." What's this?" When she got near it she knew it was a tape. It was black and dirty with a white label on one side she could not see what was written on it. " This is strange, but this is Smallville for you, land of the strange and the weird." It is so late. " I better get home before my dad knows I been out here." When she got home she fell right to sleep. She started to have a dream. It was the spring formal. " Clark Kent, man of mystery, just as I think that I've got you figured out you surprise me." Chloe said. "How's that?" Clark said. "I don't know the song, the tux, tonight" Chloe said. "And I'm still here" Clark told her. "yeah you are." Chloe said. She hugged him and started to dance with him. This was the perfect moment. She lean in and started to kiss Clark. Then the moment was ruined by the band manger saying. "Excuse me for a second, can I have everyone's attention please...uh the national weather services has just issued a tornado warning, apparently three funnels have been spotted heading towards Smallville. Now please everyone stay calm, the twisters are going to set down south of here but for your own safety, no one will be allowed to leave the gym." "The bus station's south of town, Lana's there." Clark said. "Clark don't worry I'm sure she's home by now, you know I'll go call her on my cell and you wait here." I told him. Then I turn my back to him for a second just a second and I knew he was gone. He promised he would not leave me. He told me I was not second place to Lana but it was just a big lie. Chloe then woke up. " What a bad dream I wished he did not run out on me, it was perfect till that one moment killed it all for me and Clark." she said in her mind.
