Gunparade March is one of the most beautiful anime out there. Raw emotions are successfully delivered by each character, especially Shibamura and Hayami. Lovely.

This is set after the New Year's Eve when Hayami revealed his true feelings for Shibamura.
"You're beautiful."

"Hayami, what are you looking at?" Shibamura inquired peevely.
It was a hot, scorching day. And this made Mai Shibamura annoyed and irritated. She and Hayami were practicing for hours. Moreover, after a very tiring day she was paid a timid stare by Hayami which she found disturbing.
Hayami broke from his absentminded dreaming and said,
"Oh nothing – "
Shibamura raised one eyebrow and pursed her lips.
"You're beautiful."
Shibamura then was the one who gave a Hayami a quizzical stare.
"You're beautiful – It's true." Hayami added with a shy smile on his face.
Shibamura replied by giving Hayami a sweet and flurried smile and said, "I – i, thank you Hayami."
Oh, it is a lovely day. Shibamura thought happily.
