Tunnel of Love
Isabella's POV
I skipped across the street to my neibors house. Phineas Flynn, I loved him, I had for years since we were in 3rd grade and I moved in across the street. When we I used to just go into his backyard and say my usual line "Hey Phineas, watcha doin'?" I laughed at the memory, we were 15 now and Phineas still didn't realize that I loved him. I sighed as I pushed the Flynn's front door open, I guess that's just how boys are. I walked into the kitchen where Linda and her three year old twin grandkids Xavier and Amanda were finger painting. Xavier looked u and grinned " 'izbella!" he ran over to hug me his sister following close behind. I hugged the twins and smiled at Linda "the boys are out back, I made some iced tea, why don't you bring it to them" I nodded grabbing the tray I pushed the back door open with my hip. " hey Phineas, hi Ferb!" I called setting the tray on a work bench "Hey Izzie" Phineas came over shirtless and sweaty from working, I had to work to keep my mouth from watering. He smiled at me all cute and grabbed a cup " Iced tea! Thanks, you're the best" I blushed and laughed. "So what are you guys up to today?" I asked looking at the weird contraption. It was like a river running through the yard covered by a heart shaped tunnel. "Tunnel of love" he said "Ferb's Idea since its Vanessa's birthday" I smiled "how romantic she'll love it!" I looked at Phineas but he was already buried in blue prints I made eye contact with ferb and he shrugged. I sighed leaning against the table I looked at myself wearing jean short-shorts and a purple tank top I thought I looked pretty good , but Phineas never seemed to notice me "So is it almost done?" I asked "mmm-hmm" hr said finally looking up at me "wanna test it with me after Ferb adds the finishing touches" I blushed deeply "sure" I said. About ten minutes later Phineas and I were getting into a small swan shaped boat, I smiled at him before we were plunged into darkness. Lights quickly began to twinkle above us, a love song played in the background, and fake moonlight shined on the water "It's so beautiful" I breathed "yes, all the lights seem to be working right" he said. I glared at him "cant you STOP working for one second and have some FEELINGS!" L muttered "huh?" he asked shocked "Were in the TUNNEL OF LOVE, for gods sake and you STILL don't notice me!" he shook his head "Izzie what are you talking about?" "YOU ARE HOPELESS!" I yelled "I DON'T SEE WHY YOUR SO MAD!" he yelled back. The boat bumped into the bank "BECAUSE I LOVE YOU , YOU IDIOT!" I hopped out of the boat and stalked out of the Flynn's backyard.
I lay on my bed completely pissed off. How did he not realize! It was obvious he didn't feel the same way. I heard a knock "go away!" I yelled, but the door opened anyways and Phineas walked in "Hey Isabella, watcha doin'?" he said sweetly "go away and leave me alone' I muttered, but he sat on the edge of my bed took off his shoes and pulled himself up next to me "c'mon Izzie, let me talk" "whatever' I mumbled coldly "I'm a complete idiot" he said "I already knew that" I said he chuckled and looked at me, no, gazed at me softly "I love you, Isabella, I really do." I looked at him shocked and speechless he smiled "I never thought you felt the same way" I burst out laughing "wow! You really are an idiot!" I turned and looked into his eyes "Isabella" he whispered he was looking at me intently he leaned in and kissed me softly. I was completely stunned "Izzie?" I nodded " go through the tunnel of love with me again?" I laughed "I love you Phineas Flynn "he reached out his hand and I took it "lets go."
