They were alone in the infirmary for more than half an hour now. And neither of them had uttered a word since Caldwell departure. A magistral departure, they have to admit. He had actually left them both spechless...
John turned to her, his cocky flyboy grin back in place. Elizabeth was sure she'd not like what was about to come...

- You know he won't actually write about the kiss.
- I know, it was a ... joke

They went silent again. He concentrated on his laptop and she bent lower in her bed.

- Er... No, she kissed him in fact.
- Right.
Silence fell upon them once more. And Elizabeth feigned sleep.
The morning after, Carson told them they were released from the infirmary and she ran in her office, trying to avoid him as much as possible during the day.
He was practising in the gym when an arm fell on his shoulder.
- How are you ?
- Fine Ronon thanks.
- Good
- You ?
- It is healing.
- Good. You know Elizabeth is very bad about that.
- I know, I already told her it was nothing to be sorry about. As long as every crew member she agressed...
- Yeah, she was quite... Physical with everyone.
And then he thought about the kiss « don't go there John, now is not the moment »
His tall companion smirked and went silent. John shifted incomfortably under his gaze.
- You said you love Teyla.
He turned around to face Ronon.
- WHAT ?
- When he was in your body, he said she was more important to you than you ever told her.
- Yeah well, you know Ronon, he didn't want to be killed, so...
- But you and I know he did not lie.
Silence again.
- Listen, Ronon, it didn't meant it in that way. I mean, yes Teyla is important to me, she is part of my team, and a good friend of mine and... Yes I love her, but not in that way...

- Teyla is, you know...
He looks at him, puzzled...
- No, you don't have the face of a man wo knows what I'm talking about.
Ronon just groaned.
- Okay... Let me explain. Hmmmm. Imagine SGA is like a family okay. You would be my cousin, Rodney would be... My crazy uncle, and Teyla would be like my big sister...
- And Elizabeth would be your wife.
- Yeah ! That's it. Whoa Whoa, wait a minute, WHAT ?
Ronon actually smiled at his face.
- You kissed her.
- No, she kissed me ! And by the way, how do you know that? you weren't even there !
- Carson Beckett and Mc Kay were talking about it in the commissary.
- Great, that means that now everybody on Atlantis knows !
- You should talk to her.
- Yeah but she avoids me
- Go to her quaters...
John could'nt believe what he hearing. One, the entire crew on atlantis knew tey kissed, two a lot of people seem to be imagining things about him and Teyla, and three, he was actually having Ronon Dex as love adviser... This day was just as crazy as the previous. No wait, less. At least, he wasn't possesed by an alien entity who tried to kill Elizabeth and half of his men...
John left the gym but when he was passing the door, he turned around to face his friend.
- You know Ronon, since we just establised what relation I really wanted to have with Teyla... Maybe you should talk to her about er... Your relationship...
Ronon Dex just looked as if he has been hit by a trunk.
- Just a tought...
And with that, John left and took the direction of the atlantis' leader quaters.
