Looking deep into his dark eyes as he stared back lovingly, I couldn't imagine what my life would be like without him. And to think, only a couple of weeks ago, I had no clue to what was going on in my life and almost died in the process of trying to find out. But now, staring so longingly into Seth Clearwater's eyes, those days felt like years ago.
It all started when my mom died and I was sent to live with my dad in Forks, Washington, now I could say this was when all my troubles began, but it started three months earlier.
It was just another boring day at boring Irvine Royal Academy in the boring town of Irvine in the boring country of Scotland. It was a Thursday, the worst day of the week. Walking into first period, I walked slowly, still half asleep over to where Kate, Ami, Amy and Claire were huddled round talking in exited whispers.
"Hi," I said as I flopped onto chair beside Ami but got no answer "Uhh, hello…?" Still, they were completely ignoring me. Just then the teacher called everyone to attention and Ami turned around.
"Oh, there you are Heather! Where did you come from?"
I shuck my head in disbelieve and started to ask them what they were talking about, but was cut off by the teacher yelling at me saying that the lesson had started and she was trying to teach a class…blah, blah, blah…
"God, that was the worst French lesson ever!" moaned Kate.
"Tell me about it. I mean, what the hell does "j'ai elle… something mean?" Replied Claire. Just as I remembered about this morning.
"So, what were you talking about this morning in first period?".
They each eyed each other carefully then Amy stepped forward, well, was pushed forward.
"Umm… we were talking about the… uh… geography trip to… uh, Edinburgh…" Amy stuttered, while I was looking at the rest of them suspiciously. Something was definitely going on here.
