Kingfin Strikes
By Yoshizilla-Rhedosaurus
It was a dark and particularly stormy night, with rain pouring down harshly on the ocean waves as thunder boomed loudly. Dry Bowser and King Boo were both underwater in the Dolphin Shoals race course, being so deep that they were near the underwater trenches, with there barely being any visible light. King Boo was using his ghoulish body to light things up, with Dry Bowser's eyes also particularly bright.
"Are you sure it's down here, D-B?" King Boo asked as he stuck his tongue out.
Dry Bowser nodded his head as he swam faster than King Boo. "I'm positive. The Bonefin is somewhere around here..."
"What if all those stories we read about it are fake?" King Boo responded as he moved his stubby white ghost hands around.
Dry Bowser turned his focus to the front as he sighed. "Well, at worst we're going to have to murder some unforgivable liars..."
As Dry Bowser and King Boo reached the bottom of the ocean floor, the two ghastly bosses looked around for any suspicious sighs. Dry Bowser then signaled with his right skeletal hand, with King Boo going in, to get the bright, boney fin that was shining brightly on the ocean floor, only for the entire area to shake violently. King Boo gawked as he looked around, with Dry Bowser still there as he attempted to pick up the boney fin again...
...only for the ferocious skeletal shark, Kingfin, to pop right out, clenching his sharp jaws down on King Boo.
"Yargh!" King Boo exclaimed as he closed his eyes, opening them upon realizing that he was already dead. "Wait a minute, I'm a ghost!"
Dry Bowser rolled his eyes as he swam down to grab the bonefin, only for Kingfin to knock him away with a powerful swish by his boney tail, causing Dry Bowser to split apart into various bones as King Boo attempted to snatch up the bonefin again, with Kingfin sucking King Boo towards his mouth.
It was going to be a long night.
