Author: bloody-ink

Fandom: Doctor Who

Pairing: Rose/10 or 9

Summary:Rose is lost in the Tardis.

Author's Notes: This is my first attempt at a Doctor Who fanfic, it's short I know.

I am nothing...I am...alone...

Who am I now?

Doctor?

Don't leave me!

...so alone...

And in the darkness sits a golden haired damsel of time. Knees curled to her chest her forehead resting upon them. Raising her head gently she looks about an all consuming darkness and then the tears begin to fall. Then the anger and tenderness of betrayal rage up and out in the only sound piercing the deadly calm, she's screaming his only name...

...My...Doctor...

She's broken and lost, from the reach of the hand that holds her. All hope is lost until that single familiar light appears in the far off distance...TARDIS light...and she speaks..."Bad Wolf," and Rose looks about in confusion and contempt.

This reality, it seems to break and bend and it shatters into a thousand pieces and she is left naked and falling through the TARDIS's golden light. It's warmth scratching at her and latching on. She feels herself slipping, wanting to sleep. And yet, she here's a single voice, not the TARDIS, and then there he is. Simply floating down to her with a smile full of love and concern and he gently come to hold her in his arms and she looks into his eyes, almost paralyzed with shame. My Rose... she smiles and all negative feelings disappear and she throws herself at him and they embrace, My Doctor...

My Rose.

They are flung back to the true reality, the TARDIS welcomes them, to the place where all is right and he loves her and she loves him, and she is not alone, she is home.

The End
