Wherever you are Xion… I'll find you, even if you're in the deepest darkness, I will find you.
I promised you.
Roxas walked away from the upset flame haired person he called 'friend.' Despite Roxas being a nobody, he could feel something. Angst, sorrow, pain, hurt, love. They weren't memories; they were so real, so powerful. They were taking total control of him now, forcing him to seek answers and find his lost friend.
He would do anything for Xion, and she would do anything for him. In fact, she did so much more than that, she gave him herself, just to save him. He wanted to know where she had gone, whether she was safe or endangered. He wanted to follow her into the dark.
The tall dark buildings reminded him of darkness, being the absence of light. That is what a Nobody is, the absence of light, the heart. A place where emotions are stored and created. Who's feelings were this? Xion's? Or someone else's…
Inky black Heartless rose from blobs of darkness in the ground, giving Roxas a chance to think of something else. Oblivion in one hand and Oathkeeper in the other, Roxas flew himself into the clashing claws of the Neoshadows. Every hit weakened them, and eventually, they all fell victim to Roxas' rage.
As a salty tear fell from his innocent blue eyes, the sky seemed to cry too as thick water droplets fell from above, mixing with the concrete and his Organization XIII cloak. He could feel the fabric getting heavier with every splash, just another burden a burden that he would gladly take for… that forgotten girl.
Even more Neoshadows, his rage was released upon them, like a flurry of Larxene's kunai. Perhaps the Heartless knew where she was, the girl? Or was it a boy? Roxas wasn't sure, but the number of Neoshadows began to increase, forcing him to think of something else.
Is she in the darkness? Somewhere in its dark folds of nightmares?
The water around him had now formed to puddles, which became unnerved and distorted by the swarm of Neoshadows. They rushed him, he propelled himself into the air, but the Neoshadows pursued, scratching and clawing at him. There were too many of them now, he leaped from the crowd to the base of a large tower.
He looked up, his hood protected him from the water drops from the sky. There, mounted on the top of the building was a sliver haired, blind folded boy.
I need to find… someone
He projected his thoughts, hoping, just begging, that he would understand. That he would help find them?
Find who again?
Roxas had now totally forgotten what he was doing, or what he was saving. Only rage filled his veins, but alias, something else was there. Something so... strong. But he knew it couldn't be emotion, because he was a nobody.
Well, at least Xemnas told him that.
Xemnas!
Rage now only pumped for hate for the superior and his plans. He focused himself, and began to run up to the mysterious stranger. Not knowing anything, or having any plan, he dove head first. It was a deep dive into another side of this odd stranger. He was going into the darkness.
But it felt more like he was following someone into the dark.
